VALENTINES TRIFLE IN A WINE GLASS ❤

There’s something extra special about serving dessert in a wine glass—it feels elegant, personal, and full of love. These Valentine’s trifles are one of those desserts that look impressive but are actually very simple to make. With layers of chocolate brownies, fresh strawberries, and homemade whipped cream, this is the kind of sweet treat that turns an ordinary evening into a celebration. It’s perfect for a quiet night in, date night, or anytime you want to surprise someone with something beautiful and homemade.
Ingredients (for 2–3 wine glass trifles)
Vanilla Whipped Cream
-
½ pint cold heavy whipping cream
-
3 tablespoons powdered sugar
-
Less than ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Chocolate Whipped Cream
-
½ pint cold heavy whipping cream
-
½ package instant chocolate pudding mix (powder only)
-
2 tablespoons powdered sugar
-
1–3 tablespoons milk (if needed, to adjust thickness)
Layers & Toppings
-
1 carton fresh strawberries, chopped
-
Strawberry glaze, to taste
-
2–3 brownies, baked and cut into small pieces
-
Chocolate sprinkles or curls
-
Chocolate candies or hearts
-
Whole strawberries for garnish
Instructions
Start by making the vanilla whipped cream. Place the cold whipping cream into a chilled bowl. Add powdered sugar and vanilla, then whip until soft, firm peaks form. Be careful not to overbeat. Refrigerate while you prepare the rest.
In a separate cold bowl, add the remaining whipping cream. Sprinkle in the chocolate pudding powder and powdered sugar. Whip until thick and creamy. If it becomes too thick, add a little milk to loosen it slightly. Set aside.
Place the chopped strawberries in a bowl and spoon in strawberry glaze. Gently mix until the strawberries are glossy and coated. Set aside.
To assemble, begin with a layer of glazed strawberries in the bottom of each wine glass. Add a layer of brownie pieces, pressing them gently into place. Spoon or pipe a layer of vanilla whipped cream over the brownies.
For decoration, thinly slice strawberries and cut small heart shapes. Carefully tuck them against the inside of the glass for a decorative touch.
Add another layer of brownies, followed by a generous spoonful of chocolate whipped cream on top. Smooth or swirl as desired.
Finish with sprinkles, a whole strawberry, and a piece of chocolate candy. Chill lightly or serve immediately.
