Ingredients (2–3 servings)
- 3 cups water
- 2 black tea bags
- 1 large orange
- 2 ripe peaches
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar (adjust to taste)
- 2 tablespoons fresh orange juice
- 6–8 fresh mint leaves
- 1/2 cup cold water
- Ice cubes, for serving
- Extra peach slices and orange slices for garnish
Instructions
Bring the water to a gentle boil in a medium saucepan.
Remove the pan from the heat and add the tea bags and mint leaves. Let steep for 5–6 minutes.
While the tea is steeping, peel and slice the peaches. Place them in a blender along with the orange juice and cold water. Blend until smooth.
Pour the peach mixture through a fine strainer into a bowl if you prefer a smoother drink.
Remove the tea bags and mint leaves from the brewed tea. Stir in the brown sugar until fully dissolved.
Allow the tea to cool for about 10 minutes.
Pour the peach mixture into a pitcher and add the cooled tea. Stir well to combine.
Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or serve immediately over plenty of ice.
Garnish each glass with fresh peach slices, orange slices, and a few mint leaves before serving.
Notes & Tips
- Use very ripe peaches for the sweetest flavor.
- For a stronger tea taste, steep the tea bags for an additional minute.
- Honey can be substituted for brown sugar if preferred.
- Chill all ingredients beforehand for an extra-refreshing drink.
- Add sparkling water just before serving for a fizzy twist.
